Hui Liu (刘辉)
Stockholm University
Hui Liu is a postdoctoral researcher in Emil Bergholtz’s group at Stockholm University. He earned his PhD at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden, under the supervision of Cosma Fulga and Jeroen van den Brink. His current research investigates the interplay between many-body interactions and topological phases of matter in transition metal dichalcogenides, with a particular emphasis on fractional topological insulators and their associated exotic phenomena. During his doctoral studies, Liu focused on a variety of topological phases of matter, including topological insulators, topological superconductors, Floquet topological systems, Chalker-Coddington network models, and non-Hermitian topological systems. His interests also extend to disorder-driven phenomena in topological settings, such as pair levitation and annihitation and annihilation processesilation processes, quantum Hall plateau, quantum Hall plateau transitions, and transitions, and metal–insulator metal–insulator transitions.
