Hui Liu (刘辉)
Stockholm University
I'm Hui Liu, a postdoctoral researcher in Emil Bergholtz's group at Stockholm University. I completed my PhD at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden, working with Cosma Fulga and Jeroen van den Brink. My current research focuses on the interplay between many-body interactions and topological phases of matter in transition metal dichalcogenides—specifically, fractional topological insulators and their associated exotic phenomena. During my PhD, I primarily studied various topological phases of matter, including topological insulators, topological superconductors, Floquet topological systems, Chalker-Coddington network models, and non-Hermitian topological systems. I'm also interested in disorder-driven phenomena in topological systems, such as pair levitation and annihilation processes, quantum Hall plateau transitions, and metal-insulator transitions.
