Hongxia Xue (薛红霞)
University of Hong Kong
Hongxia Xue is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Quantum Device Lab at the Department of Physics, the University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of Professor Dongkeun Ki. She has been conducting research there since 2019. Hongxia obtained her PhD in condensed matter physics from Beijing Normal University, China, under the guidance of Professor Jiacai Nie. Her research interests center on exploring novel quantum transport properties in two-dimensional materials, particularly focusing on phenomena such as the influence of vacuum fields on graphene. She is also deeply engaged in studying electron-electron interactions and spin-orbit coupling effects that lead to intriguing physical phenomena in 2D Moiré systems, contributing to advancements in quantum material science.
