Temple University
Guangyue Ji is a postdoctoral researcher in theoretical condensed matter physics, focusing on quantum geometry, lattice quantum Hall systems, anyon excitation, and condensation. His work combines field-theoretical and algebraic methods with numerical tools such as Monte Carlo simulations and exact diagonalization.
He is particularly interested in quantum geometry beyond the zero-temperature limit, the algebraic structures underlying quantum many-body systems, and the microscopic mechanisms of anyon superconductivity. Recently, Guangyue has been investigating the quantum geometry of the density matrix and its relation to quantum information metrics and sum rules. He is designing exact Hamiltonians for lattice quantum Hall states and developing the microscopic wave function for anyon superconductivity. Guangyue collaborates closely with both theorists and experimentalists to connect abstract theory with physical realizations.
