Fengcheng Wu (吴冯成)
Wuhan University
Fengcheng Wu is a Professor in the Department of Physics at Wuhan University. He received his PhD in physics in 2016 under the supervision of Allan H. MacDonald at the University of Texas at Austin. He then pursued postdoctoral research at Argonne National Laboratory with Ivar Martin and at the University of Maryland with Sankar Das Sarma. His research centers on condensed matter theory, with a particular focus on quantum phases of matter in two-dimensional systems. He looks forward to learning more about the theories, numerics, and experiments on fractional Chern insulators, superconductors, as well as other exotic emergent quantum phases.
