Zhenmin Wang
City University of Hong Kong
Zhenmin Wang is a physics researcher currently pursuing a PhD in Physics, focusing on quantum phase transitions in specific quantum systems. He has a solid academic foundation, having earned his Bachelor’s degree in Materials Physics from Fujian Normal University, where he developed expertise in material synthesis and characterization through experimental work. He later completed a Master of Applied Physics at City University of Hong Kong, further honing his skills in condensed matter physics. During his early studies, Zhenmin gained hands-on experience with experimental techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and other measurement skills. However, driven by a growing interest in fundamental theoretical questions, he transitioned to computational and analytical approaches for his doctoral research. His current work investigates emergent phenomena in quantum many-body systems, particularly critical behaviors near phase transitions.
