Prof. Adrian Perrig
Professor, ETH Zurich
Adrian Perrig received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University. He spent three years during the Ph.D. degree with the University of California at Berkeley. From 2007 to 2012, he served as the Technical Director of Carnegie Mellon’s Cybersecurity Laboratory (CyLab). From 2002 to 2012, he was a Professor of electrical and computer engineering with the Engineering and Public Policy, and Computer Science Courtesy, Carnegie Mellon University, becoming Full Professor in 2009. He is a Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Network Security Group, ETH Zürich, Switzerland. He is also a Distinguished Fellow with the CyLab and an Adjunct Professor of electrical and computer engineering with Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on networking and systems security, and specifically on the design of a secure next-generation Internet architecture.
